About the Mount Calvary Academy of Music: The Mount Calvary Academy of Music was founded in 2002 to nurture and develop musical skill and sensitivity in support of the many positive roles music plays in personal development and within our culture. Through the discipline of teaching musical skills in both private lessons and in ensemble settings, our purpose is twofold: to teach music as a means of creative expression for those things most sacred to each individual, and to encourage students to use music as a means of service to enrich and affect the world around us.
